David Duncan
David is a complete graduate of the Learn to Sail Program at Pelican Lake. He started the Optimist GYBE program when he was 12 and quickly moved through the White Levels. In 2006, David jumped ship and joined the sailing staff for a few weeks, as well as attended the Bronze Sail courses. David will be stepping into the Head Sailing Instructor position this summer.

David is currently in his 2st year in the Engineering Program at the University of Manitoba.

Shelby Williams
This year is Shelby's second year as a sailing instructor. After working part time last year at the the Pelican Yacht Club during the programs busy weeks, she is very excited to be joining the learn to sail staff full time member this summer. Shelby is looking forward to seeing all of the friendly faces of her students from last year and also getting the opportunity to meet all of the other great sailors!

In the fall, Shelby will be uprooting herself to Toronto, where she will be attending university to study in the faculty of social sciences.
