The Companion Course is a newly created program designed for sailors with some past sailing experience who wish to increase their confidence on the water. Drawing from a variety of sailing programs, sailors will learn safety skills, proper VHF radio procedures, rigging, basic sailing and boat handling skills, as well as on-shore theory and knot work. Sailors will have the opportunity of sailing in a variety of dinghies, such as the Flying Scott, and the Martin 16.

Course fee: $70/3hr session.

* Participants wishing to futher their knowledge may choose to follow up this course with private sessions with the instructor aboard their own boat.
